As part of Morgan Newton’s PCBA test capabilities, we offer flying probe test utilizing our Takaya platform. This is a cost effective, high percentage of coverage test for low to medium volume assemblies. Because there are no fixtures to purchase, this is also a good test solution for prototype/pre-production assemblies.

Flying probe test can also be a useful tool in determining defective areas of PCB assemblies returned from the field. As part of our depot repair, or after-market services, flying probe can reduce troubleshooting time, reducing repair/refurbishment costs.
